Tools Of The Trade Programs - Photoshop CS2, Wacom Tablet Music - Trivium : Dying In Your Arms Beverage Of Choice - Snakebite and black Description This piece certainly took a long time to make and i really hope you enjoy it. Earlier in the week i watched the Mel Gibson classic 'When we were soldiers' and everytime i see a good war movie it really moves me, so i took it upon me to go to work on a war piece. I started by throwing together a few vector soldiers and civilians battling it out on the streets. Then with a lot of painting and a drawing i created on the wacom, i started to create some buildings in the background. After a bit of duplicating and painting to create a more contrasted burnt down look i took a selection of brushes from deviantART and went to work on the sky, leaving a part white so i could place a paratrooper falling from a falling helicopter proper urban war style. I know a lot of you will find flaws in this, but in a way i find this good as i went into so much detail there is room for flaw as f i made it so simpl it would be harder to flaw so i am greatly proud of this and wish many thanks to anyone who comments and favs this piece |
